dc.description.abstract Currently, considerable demand exists for rechargeable batteries with both high energy density and low manufacturing cost, for use in mobile electronic devices and electric vehicles. Rapid charging is also a highly desirable criterion. Various recent approaches to realizing these requirements are presented. -
