dc.description.abstract The optical conductivity spectra were calculated in B2-TiMe (0 0 1) thin films (Me = Fe,Co,Ni) using the electronic structure obtained by means of the full potential linearized augmented plane wave (FLAPW) method. The changes of optical conductivity in bulk alloys and thin films are analyzed. The difference of the optical conductivity spectrum of the TiNi monoclinic phase from experiment is discussed.
