Abstract
Keeping in shape: Polymerizable coil-rod-coil molecules self-organize into 2D columnar and 3D bicontinuous liquid crystals whose supramolecular architectures and lattice dimensions are preserved upon photopolymerization (see picture). Nanofibers resulting from the photopolymerization of the 2D structures are utilized as nanoreactors for Suzuki coupling reactions. (Figure Presented). © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
