Abstract
Topology selection of the wireless power transfer system is an important design step, since each topology has very different power transfer characteristics. In this paper, an efficient analytical methodology to find optimal topology of wireless power transfer is presented. Several parameters, such as efficiency, imaginary power, and voltage gain, are analyzed and compared with varying frequency, coupling coefficient, and output loads. The analytical results are applied to practical design of 3.3kW wireless power transfer for electric vehicles.
