Abstract
The paper presents NCA benchmark analyses using a new Monte Carlo code, MCS, with ENDF-VII. 1 which has significant updates in tungsten cross sections from ENDF-VII.0. The eigenvalues and pin power distributions of the NCA benchmark were analyzed by MCS and compared with the MCNP6 results. It was confirmed that the MCS results match well with those of MCNP6, and the tungsten cross section differences between the two ENDF-VII versions are insignificant in the eigenvalues but are noticeable for pin fission rates for the given benchmark problem.
