dc.description.abstract We report highly-nonlinear metasurfaces based on combining electromagnetically-engineered plasmonic nanoresonators with quantum-engineered intersubband nonlinearities. Experimentally, effective nonlinear susceptibility over 480 nm/V was measured for second-harmonic generation at normal incidence. -
