Abstract
The researcher describes the early stages of an ongoing process to co-create a collaborative research lab, aiming to produce green energy and prepare for natural resource scarcity. The lab will also double as a public art installation within a community in the republic of Korea. Natural artists, design researchers and scientists collaborated with the community not only to prepare for the future energy but also to raise community awareness and to motivate them to participate. Meeting and talking with people within the community inspired us to co-create a research lab that was also a public art installation.
