Abstract
Low molecular weight dopant, DPPB, and poly(BFMP12-AV) alternating copolymer were synthesized. Double-layer polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) were fabricated with a mixture of dopant/matrix polymer as an emissive layer and Alq(3) as an electron-transporting layer. The effect of dopant/matrix polymer pair on the energy transfer and electro-optical properties of doped PLEDs was discussed with emphasis on emission color changes and luminescence efficiency of doped PLEDs.
